To start off, I’ll just give some random charts

Favorite Funny of The Week: If you’re casado, you’re married.If you’re cansado, you’re tired. If you’re both, you probably have hijos (children).

(Sorry, couldn’t help myself. I’m a sucker for Foreign Language.)

This week’s highlights:

-It is 6 days till my birthday, and 5 days till I get to party with mah peeps (not of the variety I am currently munching on, though) But, I have a busy week down at the hospital. (The great stress fountain is going to flow very well, alright T_T)

-I had a lovely Easter, how was yours? It didn’t start out great though, because I had to mad-dash clean our house because friends were coming over for lunch. I did get it done, and my sore and spasm-ing back thanked the dining-room chair very much. And MAN, we had an awesome Strawberry Pie. I hadn’t tried that variety before, but according to my dad it was the best he had ever tasted. Then I got the job of hiding eggs for my sisters and brother, which turned out fine. Now we are sitting around, watching Veggie-Tales and and blowing bubbles (odd combo, eh?)

-I’m not sure if I ever stated it, but I don’t love Spanish. Please read the rest before you yell at me for being insulting. I studied Castillian Spanish this week, and I love it! Costa Rican Spanish is also beginning to grow on me,too. Maybe Latin American can work it’s way into my foreign language heart. But as for German, Polish, Hungarian, Czech, and Gaelic, ehehe don’t get your hopes up…

It’s Saturday night, a night where most young people go out.

Not me, I stay at home.

It’s almost 9:00pm, and my sisters are in bed. My mom and older sister are out shopping and my dad is in his room watching a movie.

I’m sitting in my living room; Veggie-Tales on the screen, my 13 month-old brother running around with a Nerf sword.
I have Billy Joel’s ‘Piano Man’ blasting throughout the room from iTunes on my laptop.

Oh yeah, this is Saturday night.

Confessions of a Tragedy Writer

I decided to begin writing a blog post about my favorite hobby: Writing Novels.

You may ask “What exactly do you write about?”

Romance?

Nope.

Action?

Nope.

Fantasy?

Not on your life.

So what genre do I write?

I am a tragedy writer.

Yes, I am that evil person in the corner of your bookstore writing about life’s pain and suffering. (muahahaha)

Why?

Truthfully, I don’t know why. My life is pretty sweet if you ask me.

The thing is we tragedy writers are often misunderstood. Hence why some of us actually PLAY the part of tragedy.
Like some people think we have had a horrible life and need to vent.
Yes and no. I have never seen someone get shot, nor had all my friends murdered.
‘You are emo and depressed!’ they say!
Everyone’s depressed sometimes aren’t they? C’mon, gimme a break.

My hair looks normal and just because I listen to depressing music all the time does not make me depressed!
So why do I listen to depressing music?

I listen to depressing music because it helps me think. I usually find a song to put on repeat, and Voila!
If I have writers block, this method helps too.

And some people think tragedy is tragedy: end of story. IT IS SO NOT!
Tragedy writers have a whole science to this. There are so many different types to choose, and specialties apply to this genre too.

In closing, another thing is that people think we absolutely LOVE LOVE death. We immerse ourselves in it! (eheheh, no.)
Some are, and we can be quite scary. I have screamed “GORE!” in a gleeful tone once or ..20 times in my life. So what?
….
Okay, bad example.

But next time you hang with one of us, don’t be surprised if something happens to you, and your aquaintance says.
“That would be SO great in my next story!”

Don’t feel offended, Fido’s death was just how I thought Denise’s boyfriend should die in the book!

In closing, I advise one thing to thee…

Daylight Savings and Bishounen

Yep. It’s March 14th, daylight savings time begins…

My gosh how I hate Daylight Savings, it throws off my sleep pattern!

Arizona never sounded so darn nice, which I suppose it wouldn’t be horrid March…

Anyhow, the next part on my post is on the “pretty boys” of Manga and Anime.

And this post is not for ogling at them, mind you.

I have said I am a big anime/manga fan. And in all my reading of Magazines, blogs, and the actual stories themselves, I have found a major annoyance: Bishounen.

Why is his hair grey if he’s a teen?

Also: GET A HAIRCUT!

He looks like a giraffe.

Exhibit C

This bi-shounen group is definitely a better one. The darn hair is at a normal length (which makes all the difference xD)

The shoulders are a bit off, though…

My only point being I’m not against bishounen, the stereotype that has been made is what is annoying to me. What is just as annoying is that people think they’re actually hotties, which they SO aren’t.

Merry Christmas, everyone!

Why the parentheses? Well, my Aunt Merry is here for Christmas.

I’m not kidding, that’s her name.

Well, I guessed this would be a crappy day. Why?

1. It’s supposed to be rainy and cloudy

2. We have to pinch pennies these days.

3. I’M TIRED AND IRRITABLE

But, Mother. (aahhh) Sweet Super Saver Mother suprised me with a new

MP3 PLAYER!!!

Holy Moly! I’ve been needing a new one for months, but they’re SO expensive! And she found a deal at Target… A Philips VIBE! ahhhh bliss

Along with $50, Chewing Gum, Socks, Chocolate, Fresca to add to the pile, with some Febreze, this has been an awesome day.

Now as I enjoy the temporary peace, I give you Japanese Christmas Songs!

Hello! It’s been forever since I last posted :sweatdrop:, and I apologize for that!! (I hate being so busy!)

As for my writing currently, I am putting my time into a new story. A mystery to be precise, woooo. I have to get it to 5,000 words, so I have quite a ways to go before I can start work on chapter 2. X/

- COULD IT BE… Silence?

-After a long day, I lie down on my pillow to sleep. My first thought? “Ew, this pillow stinks!”

- Apparently, there’s a reason why socks don’t go in the blender…

-”MENTAL HEALTH CENTER. HIGH RISK SUICIDE UNIT: TOP FLOOR”

-DOES THERE HAVE TO BE A REASON WHY I’M DANCING?!

-”In a world without coffee…” Forget it man, there is no world without coffee!

-I broke my toilet today, something to do with squirrels, plastic eggs, and Cool Whip.

Cake Baking

Yesterday, My aunt came over. Who is my aunt? She happens to bake cakes as a job (FUN!) I enjoy baking, so I got a lesson. EEEP!

Well, we baked Brownies and a Spice Cake. I learned the tricks to making a good cake, and I frosted it without ruining it!

We also had my uncle and my sister grill. Another case of cooking lesson, cuz he’s a master of the grill.

And at around 6-7.00, we ate our delicious meal. Twas a lovely evening, and then they headed back to the midwest. T_T Guess we can’t have everything…
